What do Facebook ads cost in the UK?
Meta doesn't publish benchmark pricing — so this page does what smart advertisers do instead: read the market from what brands actually do. When an advertiser keeps an ad running for months, it is almost certainly profitable at their cost per click and cost per lead. That logic underpins everything on this site.
What we can measure
From live UK ad records we measure how many ads each sector sustains, how long the survivors last, and how hard brands are testing — the closest public proxy for "this channel works for businesses like mine." When a sector shows dozens of ads surviving past 60 days, the economics are working for someone.
Browse the sectors we track or any advertiser's page to see who is still paying — and for what copy.
Rough UK expectations (from practitioner consensus)
As a starting frame: UK Facebook CPCs commonly land somewhere in the £0.30–£1.50 range by sector and audience, with legal, insurance and B2B at the expensive end and broad consumer categories cheaper. Treat these as orientation, not benchmarks — your real numbers come from your own account, and the survival data here tells you whether competitors can afford theirs.
The honest limits
Meta publishes no spend, impression or click data for commercial ads. Every figure on this site is derived from public delivery records. When third-party benchmark tables appear here, each will cite its source and sample size. Read the method.
